　　FX Direct Dealer, LLC (FXDD) is a direct subsidiary of Tradition North America (TNA). TNA owns several Broker Dealers (one of which is a member of the New York Stock Exchange), an FCM (which is regulated by the CFTC and is a member of the NFA) and FXDD. TNA is a direct subsidiary of Compagnie Financiere Tradition (CFT). CFT is a public company traded on stock exchanges in both Switzerland and Germany. FXDD, as a subsidiary, reports all of its activity to its corporate parents, TNA and CFT, on an ongoing basis, including all data on customer funds, transactions, risk control, compliance and corporate governance. FXDD conducts its business according to the policies and procedures mandated by its parent companies.
　　FXDD’s Customer funds are held at its counterparty banks such as Goldman Sachs, UBS, Dresdner. In addition to being subject to the direct authority and oversight of its parent companies, FXDD carries an insurance policy (a Financial Institution Bond) that protects customer funds against loss caused by criminal and fraudulent activity. We know of no other firm who carries this additional protection for customers. Customers should also realize that registration and membership in the NFA does not automatically provide protection for customer funds. Customers funds are not held in segregated accounts and do not receive protection from bankruptcy. FXDD will register in the near future as either an FCM or Broker Dealer and believes that being registered will provide additional oversight. It is FXDD’s firm belief, however, that the constant primary oversight by our parent companies provides significant customer protection.
